Development of snapback rope based on the ATLAS design
The goal of the project is to develop a snapback rope based on ATLAS technology. ATLAS mooring ropes offer enhanced dimensional stability and are therefore particularly durable when used with winches. The snapback feature is designed to reduce the rope’s whipping motion upon breaking compared to conventional ropes.
Period: April 30, 2025 – April 30, 2028
The project is receiving a grant of €79,954.00.
Improving the recyclability of mooring lines
Drahtseilwerk manufactures mooring lines for vessels. The goal of this project is to determine whether ropes made of various materials can be replaced with ropes made of single material or whether it is possible to recycle the existing ropes.
Period: April 30, 2025 – April 29, 2026
The project is receiving a grant of €34,865.25.
We are once again exhibiting at KOMPASS – Training Exhibition 2025. This will take place on Thursday, 13.02.2025 from 08:30h to 13:00h at “Agentur für Arbeit” in Bremerhaven (Grimsbystr. 1, 27570 Bremerhaven).
